Job Functions
|
|
Design and maintenance of in-building multi-carrier
wireless networks in airports, tunnels, and other large venues managed by Concourse
communications -- including but not limited to cellular, PCS, SMR, AWS, LTE, and assistance with WLAN systems.
|
|
Tasks
|
|
Designing, maintaining, operating,
integrating, and testing of DAS networks.
|
|
Manage RF network configuration documentation, conducting break/fix
support, providing test support and test records.
|
|
The role requires a diversified technical
skill set and the strong understanding in cellular network technologies,
particularly with in-building systems.
|
|
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in engineering related field.
5+ years experience in telecommunications.
Knowledge of 2G-4G wireless protocols (e.g., 1xRTT, GPRS, EVDO, UMTS, LTE-MIMO, etc.).
Knowledge of in-building wireless Distributed Antenna Systems.
Experience/Certification in IBwave design tool.
Experience with DAS Vendors and vendor equipment, such as Commscope, TE, and Mobile Access in-building products.
